I want to post my ad in two different states

I can't imagine a reason for doing that unless you're in one location and the vehicle is in another. Perhaps active military or maybe a student? Anyhow I think the best thing to do is advertise the vehicle where it is physically located. If that would make it difficult or impossible for you to personally complete the sale you can either bring the vehicle to your location or give a family member limited power of attorney to sell the vehicle for you.
