2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 no sound

I have a 2011 Hyundai Genesis with
the logic seven lexicon system. I have
done all the research including pulling
off the battery terminal. All fuses are
good. I have display On the screen
and can toggle between different
functions. But there was no volume
icon for the up and down volume
control and no sound. Before I spend
money on an amplifier I would like to
know if that is the problem? Or is this
a software issue and how can I test
both?

Did you figure out a solution for this yet? I seem to have the exact same problem and I have no clue what to do!!!

I went to the dealership and they wanted $4000 for a head unit. I got one on eBay for $175 and everything works great! It was very easy to install also. The front trim comes off, and you pull out the DVD/CD player disconnect Plugs, and simply re-install the new one

Can you point me to a link similar to the one you purchased? Did you get yours from a junkyard listing on ebay, or as a refurbed unit or something? Thanks in advance for your answer!
