Fuel or gas related issue

Asked by Jordan May 06, 2018 at 09:54 PM about the 1996 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need help with an issue. When my car is just started
after a few hours or over night sitting it bogs and act
like it's gonna run out  of gas or die out. But just for a
couple minutes . And also sometimes when I'm
driving it bogs . And when my gas gauge is at and
below half a tank it dies at stops and sometimes
taking turns . Please hopefully you can answer me
questions as help me out. I really need to figure out
the issue and get it resolved.

Sounds like you have a pump that's weak and about to go out or an opening in your fuel lines, letting air in.

Possibly but before buying one, check over your lines and make sure there's no openings.

If you live somewhere that has high temps then could be vapor locking....or a clogged fuel filter
