Why is my dodge raider hard to start

yes it takes the whole life of the battery to get it to fire and i smell gas like its flooding

A friend of mine had taken the five gallons of gas (premix) that was for my two stroke out board motor and used it for my 1988 dodge raider. What i have done was change plugs and put in 5 gallons of fresh gas in. I start it its running out comes white smoke like as if you was barbequlng! What can i do for it to stop smoking?
