Crank, No Start

I have a 1999 Honda Accord Lx V6 that I just
bought from a guy in town. When I bought it, the
vehicle was running and driving although the
transmission would slip out of gear sometimes, it
was for the most part drivable. When I gave the
guy my last payment he gave me the title and I was
driving it home and then the car gave out on me
before I even left the neighborhood. Needless to
say I had to have it towed home. The battery was
bad so I replaced it, it cranks but won't start. I'm
going to replace the spark plugs and fuel pump
this upcoming pay period. I'm curious if this will fix
the problem, but if not would anyone know what
the issue could be?

before I just started replacing parts.. I would reccomend having a qualified Honda tech look at the car to tell you their best idea of the cause.. This could be a LOT of different things.. Most likely NOT the spark plugs OR the fuel pump. I would bet on either a Fuel pump main relay... or maybe an ignition switch electrical issue. Both of those are common failures on higher mileage Accords like yours. Hope this helps ;)
