Can you swap a 1999 engine with a 2003 blazer motor boath are 4x4? Will I have to change anything ? Boath to my knowledge are code l35 6 cylinder 4.3 Help please?

When swaping a motor on a blazer what are the main things to look for? I know if its a 4x4 it has to be swapped with a 4x4. It's a 95 4.3 vortex 4x4.
