Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took it to aamco transmissions and couldn't get it to duplicate issue. After car dies if you move it to park you wont be able to shift out of park back into gear or neutral without using the shift lock release by the selector. sometimes it does it a few miles apart other times i can drive over 300 miles without an issue.

think this problem sounds electrical. We have to rule out the electrical nature of this problem by connecting the battery with solid ground connections to the frame and engine, positive terminal with the auxilliary eyelets must also be blasted clean with a garden hose and all corrosion removed to established a reliable source thru all conditions.

Itll drive fine in d4 but then without any symptoms or warning it shuts off even if driving in d3
