Asked by dracman Jun 01, 2015 at 10:47 AM about the 2004 Honda Pilot EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the battery was getting weak and when i started the car to go get a new battery, i noticed the speedo was all the way over.  after the new battery was installed, it still remained where it was.

I pressed the cruise on-off rapidly about 15 times with no change noticed. I then pushed select reset button rapidly also about 15 times and all functions slowly returned to normal. Last suggestion is always have remote battery power applied when replacing the battery. on these vehicles. they didn't do this for me and that must have been the problem.
