That just does not sound right. Sounds like a tire or alignment problem. Depending on what your miles are, it could be wheel bearings. I would have a mechanic look at it.

I have the same problem on my '05 Honda Element. It usually is under light exceleration and when I let off the gas (no pull) it stops and I go on my way. I have had it at the dealer and they siad I needed new tires. I purchased new tires and had them aligned and balanced. I still get the vibration around 40 to 45 mph.

I found a link for you to the Honda owners' site. Answers included transmission fluid needing to be changed, tire balancing and even a brake issue. Check them out, hope this helps. http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61161

We had the same problem with our 06 element replaced tires and shocks struts didn't help. Took it to Lynch Works in Knoxville Tn and they replaced lower ball joints and lower control arm bushings and it's FIXED
