Tips on buying a first car?

first car and I just want tips , I don't know a lot about cars or doing a down
payment. I just want to know what Im bringing myself into

First car cool. Get EXACTLY the car You want with all the bells and whistles You want, don't try to add them later, no offense to Car Guru's but have it inspected by a certified or known good mechanic before you agree to any deal. Remember You get what you pay for

Once you find what car you want do online research to find out problem areas to watch for.
