Car will not stay on

Question type: General

I have a 2016 Honda Civic EX Touring edition, I replaced my car battery and
now the car will start but turns off within 2 to 3 seconds. I tried holding the
power button down for 2 seconds on the radio to see if it will reset my
immobilizer. I also held the key fob to the start button to see if this would
help. About all the lights in dash are on and will not go off. The key light does
not come on at all.

Probably needed a power saver when you replaced your battery. Dealer will have to reprogram.

Thank you for the advice. I had the car towed to the dealership I’m now waiting on them to let me know what the problem is.
