Insurance

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

What's up guys. I'm a previous question I did ask a
lot about insurance and car prices for a 2016
camaro. Well now I have another question, I did a
bunch of quotes and all and long story short my
insurance rate would be in the ball park of 775
beans a month and that's just the basic!... they
could have at least spit on the tip before entering
me... anyway. Now I've come to the conclusion I
must get my mother do buy the car and buy
insurance and just make me a second party driver.
Her rate is 200 for premium. (And she doesn't even
have a drivers licence) so my question basically is...
is this even legal. I know a lot of people do that and
I just want to know if there's anything I should
watch out for or worry about.

Sure it's legal, she is the owner and has you added on her policy. Of course her policy will go up for that reason, so don't assume her insurance will based solely on herself as driver. Her's might be 200 now, but check it again with you added to it. PS: you can own a car without being a licensed driver.
