2016 Outback, 2.5 liter engine - AT Oil Temp, CEL, Brake and Limp Home.

Asked by Wingnut25A Feb 08, 2019 at 11:24 AM about the 2016 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 Outback, 2.5 liter engine, weather was sunny -14 degrees
when I attempted to start the vehicle. It did not start. Acted like it was in gear.
I cycled the transmission. It started. The engine rev'd up to 3000 RPM and
displayed the following warning lights: AT Oil Temp, CEL, Brake and Limp
Home. I shut it off and restarted it. It started with only the CEL and Limp
Home. In previous weeks I have experienced an intermittent failure of the
BCD and I can not engage the passenger window from the drivers command
panel. What are my options.

You may still have warranty coverage. I would need the OBD2 trouble codes to help more. You can have your local auto parts store read them.
