i cannot unplug low beam light from socket.  osram zenark

Then it's probably corroded in place. You will have to cut it off and solder and shrink wrap in a new socket and install a new lamp.

to change the tail-light on the mini cooper, one would have to Punch the lens~ that seemed horrible, but used a soft mallet without damage, seems odd they chose a hermetic seal to avoid moisture from getting into the body, perhaps yours is a similar situation, where once loosened one must take off a shoe and start hitting the assembly, knowing all fasteners have been dealt with, perhaps contact cleaner or WD-40 for the redneck in you~
