All I can say is you shouldn't pull the batt. cable on a newer car like that , memories are lost and who knows what else .

when i put he battery back on all my presets stay the same i just have to adjust the clock i just feel i should not have to put a aftermarket radio in a newer car like that and keep messing with the battery everyday.

I have had the SAME exact issue in my 2015 Dart! It happened while still under warranty. According to the dealership, its a bad module. I don't think I believe them tho! It's makes zero sense that it would work intermittently. I have found when it extremely cold and or raining out, it comes on the first time I start my car for the day. I am going to try to buy another stock radio and replace it just to see what happens. Next step will be to have a auto electrician follow wires and find out exactly whats going on. Its RIDICULOUS that a car with less that 40,000 miles should start having this issue!

My 2014 dart radio went black and my defrost is stuck on high. Took my negative cable off still nothing. I need help!’nn

Just wanna say I also had this same issue with my stock radio in my 2015 Dart SE. Would work intermittently, getting worse over time, but would wake back up if the temp got really cold or if you cut the battery I suspected it was a bad capacitor somewhere in the unit, since that would explain the temperature sensitivity and why it would kick back in after cutting the power. But eventually it just died 100% Never figured out a solution to it though
