My 2016 mustang eco boost turns off

Hi, we have the same exact car. This happened to my car as well last month. After 3 attempts to get my car fixed at ford they figured out that the Purge Valve was faulty. This has to do with how your engine registers gas in the car, most likely after you go under a half a tank then the car will randomly turn off. I got my purge valve fixed for free and I escalated my car to ford corporate because it took three attempts for Ford to figure it out. Hope this information helps you! My car is working back to normal now. Basically your car thinks there is no gas in the car and turns off! It took ford a month to figure it out! All the best!

My girlfriend’s 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Premium has just had the same exact problem. Strange buzzing sound coming from the rear driver side quarter panel. When trying to pull over the car engine stalled and wouldn’t start. After sitting 30 minutes the engine started back up and the car ran fine. Ford repair couldn’t find anything wrong with it.
