Tail lights not working

Asked by Zalman217 Jun 18, 2018 at 12:31 PM about the 2016 Honda Pilot Elite AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was doing a lights repair on a trailer that was attached to
my 2016 Honda Pilot Elite. I accidentally shorted a wire and
that is when the tail lights went out. My initial thought was I
blew a fuse so I checked all the fuses and they seem to be
fine. The lights do turn on when the brake is depressed or
blinkers are turned on however that's it. Any suggestions?

I have a 2016 Pilot Ex-l. My lights were doing the same thing, all worked fine but when I turned the blinkers on or depressed the brakes. I found the 7.5 amp fuse under the dash in position 27 blown. It’s the parking light fuse. It was the fix to my lights not working.
