Engine upgrade

Asked by May 05, 2017 at 04:04 PM about the 2001 Ford Mustang Coupe

Question type: Car Customization

Can I fit a 2013 v6 engine in a
2001 v6 Mustang?

1 Answer

Possibly but you would need the ECU, wiring harness and all the emissions equipment. If the car is an automatic you should swap the transmission too as the newer ECU probably will not work with the old transmission.
