2016 kia optima that was titled as a rental...is remainder of factory warranty is valid?

I just bought a 2019 Kia Soul Hatchback from Avis car rental with 23,000 miles on it. I was told by a rep by phone that as a second owner, the warranty was transferable. Then I checked the owner's manual and it states that if the car's previous owner was a car rental company, the original warranty was void except for a 1 year warranty. I called the seller and was told the warranty was transferable but they didn't put it in writing. I hope a local Kia dealer can answer my question since they will be servicing the little car in the future.
