69 Camaro with loud knock from rear end

12 Bolt eaton posi rear with 3.73 gears. When making any quick turn or tight turn the rear end pops and the car feels like it is slipping out. Happens more when making right turns than left. Car drives fine when straight, but loud knock, clunk or whatever when turning. What could be causing this?

Locking rear end? I would drop the oil in the rear gear and look for bits of metal. If you find metal then it is likely the rear end will need to be rebuilt. Please note some differentials with limited slip have clutch packs that require an additive to the lubricant. Without this additive they tend to get noisy when turning.
