Why is my fog lamp indicator on?

Asked by Batmang Nov 13, 2020 at 11:54 AM about the 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I do not have fog lamps but in the last few weeks the fog lamp indicator on my
dash has come on whenever the lights are on. I have concerns that it may
reflect the start of an electrical problem.

That's odd, looking at oreilly auto parts, im finding connections for fog lights for your vehicle but not a switch

Exactly. There is no switch as there are no fog lamps. Thanks for your response; it was better than my dealer’s response which was to make an appointment or come it to talk to a service advisor.

Wish I could help more, but I cant think of anything more without the ability to be hands on

Absolutely. I checked the owners manual. Besides, the brights indicator is blue.
