Why is my engine only overheating at high speeds?

Engine overheats ONLY at high speed. Idling, stop
and go driving temp is norm. New thermostat n
new radiator, radiator fan works still over heats.
Block tested, head gasket NOT blown. Haven't
changed water pump or temp sensor yet. Could
these be it?
The WP is enclosed with the timing belt, so not a
quick fix.
1999 Honda CRV 4cyl 2.0L 2WD Automatic

Might be the water pump. If the fins are eroded you would not get enough water flow.

If you did not use a honda thermostat .or o.e.m A.m. thermostat. Never again will I use anything else but oem or genuine honda. Dam near blew my head. I own a 99 honda crv awd. Warning motorad fail safe therms are cheap for a reason they will get stuck closed due to the (fail safe fins)
