How do I remove my window crank on my 1995 gmc sanoma

I cant figure out how to remove the window crank

The crank is held on its shaft with a small clip that can be exposed by pushing back the interior panel around the shaft. There is a removal tool available at most part stores that slides around the shaft and pops the clip off.
