I have a 2000 GMC Sonoma sls. when I turn the key ,everything lights up but no crank. How do I remove my starter?

Disconnect the battery. Then just get under the vehicle and unbolt it. There are electrical wires also that need to be disconnected also, nuts to remove holding the wires on.
