Engine wont turn over

Asked by Aza Dec 06, 2017 at 02:55 PM about the 1997 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr SL 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

97 GMC Jimmy was running fine. Next day it wont
turn over kinda like as if it were out of fuel. Added
fuel checked fuel pump and filter all are good.  
Battery is good and points are new. No clue why it
still wont start. Please help.

The easiest thing to check first is your shifter. Shift into N and see what happens. Is it the neutral safety switch? Is the clutch suppose to be engaged before you can start it check the safety switch or fuses before you look for big stuff check the simple things first like the wire to the starter. It doesn't have to be a major thing us the KISS system. LOL GOOd Luck
