2002 tbird soft top does not seat properly?

Asked by Jun 15, 2017 at 06:27 PM about the 2002 Ford Thunderbird Base Convertible

Question type: General

The car has 15k milies and the soft top has been used seldom if ever. Once it is
closed (takes lots of work) I am told top material will stretch over a few days
and it should then work fine. What do you think?

I WOULD CLEAN IT...WHATS IT MADE OUT OF? GET SOME PRODUCT THAT WILL REPLENISH THE SKIN/MATERIAL MAKE IT SOFTER MORE PLYABLE...AS THIS SHOULD BE DONE EVERY OTHER MONTH ANYWAY...PUT IT IN THE SUN....
