If it's a Salvage title because of law enforcement seizure, vehicle *may* be okay but resale value will take a big hit. If it's an insurance right-off, could be from a major accident. No matter why it was branded a salvage, you will have to go through a pain-in-the-a** state highway patrol inspection to get it re-titled in most states, and check with your insurance, as some will apply a higher rate to a salvage- or rebuilt-titled car.
