The hardtop on our 2007 will not retract. After releasing the latch the light on the dash comes on and when you press the open button it beeps at you.

The hardtop on our 2007 MX5 will not open. After releasing the latch the open-close light comes on and when you press the open button it just beeps at you.

Make sure your trunk is closed. Maybe a relay or a switch failure. Probably end up at the Mazda Dealer to analyze
