Don't get the 1995 model! That could be either OBD I or OBD II. Your 1999 is OBD II. You want a 1996 or newer engine. OBD I and OBD II systems are completely different from each other and not interchangeable at all. Hope that helps! Jim

You need a OBD2 engine. A 99 would be best.

That's what I need to know because a friend has one that is either a 94 or 95 engine out of the same type of car but it caught fire so I would have to reuse all my engine parts which is fine because there's nothing wrong with mine other than the engine seized up but I'm trying to break it lose to see if maybe I can save it
