issue with Radio and thumping noise when the radio stopped

Ok, My radio stopped working and now i have this thumping sound, it sounds
like a part in the movie ID4 when they first hear the noise that is coming from
space and they freak out . That sound or like if something fell on the car
thump.

Thumping is associated with speakers grounding out or feeding back to the amp. You don't mention if this is factory radio or aftermarket, but check your wiring and harness for abrasions or shorts. You may also want to stock up on water and food rations and head for the nearest cave, just in case it really is a noise from space and people start freaking out.

Sorry I just realized in your question you said it was a 2014, thought you had a 2004. Still, it's a shame something this new, and still factory stock, is having this sort of electrical problem. Then again it is a Chrysler product. Disconnecting the battery can cause the radio to need to be reset, if that is the case check the manual for how to reset it.
