Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Radio  and heater will cut out at the same time each morning. Usually it’s
when it’s cold . I could bang the dash and it would come back on some of the
time. Today the radio didn’t work at all but clock flashed the correct time .
Heater and panel lights cut out at normal time. Does the radio and heater a/c
share a common power source? Where do I begin?

What controls what should be in the back of the owners manual under fuses. They will be numbered. But if banging on the dash causes something to work, suspect a bad electrical connection.

Did you fix this? My 2013 5.0 is doing the same thing. Once I drive it for 40mins or so, both come back on by themselves and the clock resets to 6:00 everytime. Weird. Unhooking the battery for a few hours didn't help. Fuses are good clearly. Heard these trucks have a computer issue at some point.
