I bought s 2014 328 si bmw which appears to me a lemon

Can a timing change that is stretched at
first they told me broken 3x at 19,000 miles
ruin the n20 bmw engine? They did 10
pages of repairs I have had the car 8
months it happened 2 months ago. Now
the oil pump went out!
