Could it be my gas cap?

Asked by Greenj Jul 31, 2016 at 11:22 AM about the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country S FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our 2014 TC Stalled out this morning with a blinking engine light. I took the
gas cap off, put it back on tight and now it seems fine, but the light is on solid.
The diagnostic from Autozone came out as "faulty 02 sensor". Could it have
just been my gas lid not on tight?

Gas cap won't cause a blinking check engine light. Blinking or flashing check engine light indicates cylinder miss fire which will dump unburned fuel into the exhaust overheating the catalytic converter. Do you know what the code number was when you last had it scanned?
