2014 Ford Focus No key detected (push Button Start)

My 2014 Ford Focus Titanium will not detect the key.  I replaced the battery in
the FOB, tried placing the key in the console to get it to start.  the Fob does not
work at all, will not unlock the doors, open the truck nothing, My current thought
is that the Receiver above the drivers head in the headliner is bad.  Any other
suggestions,  that part is hard to find in my area

It's likely that when you replaced the fob battery, the car lost the code to it. The owners manual tells you how to reprogram the car to the fob code, or have a mechanic do it.
