Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2017 Ford Focus. It has 1 key I insert key into ignition and turn key. 80% of time it starts right up 20% of the time it says no key detected. Its totally random and sporatic when it does it. Dealer said change battery which was done and its still doing the same thing.

You may need a new key. This is a job for your dealer or maybe for an automobile lock smith.
