How important is it to have the exact same tire when using a full size spare?
What do I need to consider.?

If you are really worried use a measuring tape to compare the circumference to your other tires. It should be within 1/4" but for a spare that will only be used short distances I would not get too uptight about it.

My 2015 Forester has a space saver spare which means Subaru is not to concerned about tire size difference for a spare. They do say not to drive more than 50 miles at 55 mph.
