Voltage says 15v on dash, is this ok

Asked by Danroxy Dec 27, 2020 at 11:35 PM about the 2014 Dodge Durango Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

With the engine running the dash says 15 v. This
has never shown up like this before. Just wanted
to make sure it's not a problem

1 Answer

That is high. If it does not drop down after a bit you have a problem with the alternator or possibly the battery.
