Light for odometer

Asked by GuruX588Z Jul 15, 2019 at 08:00 PM about the 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Question type: General

The light that shows the
odometer/mileage/idle hours is very dim. I
cannot see it in the daytime but I can at
night. The  dial that controls the brightness ii
all the way to brightest. The person I bought
it from says this is a common problem in
police cars. Can this be corrected? Thanks

Turn off the head lights (during the day) and the light will be brighter.

If you have the head light to "auto" the dash lights are dim in my Fords.
