1987 bonneville 3800 thermostat repalcement ; can not get the inlet sleeve out

the thermostat is underneath the inlet sleeve..i removed the 1 bolt and hose
but the sleeve is rusted or corroded inside the intake manifold and will not
move...i have tried heat but it still will not move and i dont want to crack the
manifold ..any suggestions ? it looks like i will need to buy a new one cause i
am making it oval and not round trying to get it out and thats no problem just
need to get the old one out with out breaking anything ....

i took a hammer and hit it directly on top until it freed itself and I grabbed it with vise grips and damaged it but a new one was just $ 8.00 and it is a better metal than the copper sleeve
