Have a 1985 El Camino with under 100.000 it's been I
garadge but the a/c has never worked probably need
new anti freeze should I use a cheap bottle at Auto
zip need or have it does professional all the hoses are
great original.

A/c... coolant? You mean r-134a refrigerant... if so; you want to check pressure in the lines first-and also; if it’s never worked the compressor maybe shot / so adding refrigerant won’t do anything

If it has never worked properly you should take it to a pro. I would start by putting leak detection dye in the system.
