PCV valve

Is it ok to plug my PCV valve to the port indicated in the picture on my Chevy S10 2.8L v6? the carburetor I want to use does not have a PCV port on it.

PCV is Positive crankcase ventilation. It prevents un-burned fuel that pass by the rings during fire form accumulating in the crank case and thinning the oil. You could do thsi but I would change the oil often due to viscosity loss.
