For the newer Jeep Grand Cherokees (after 2013), how long (milage) do they last?

Asked by GuruYG989 Apr 09, 2018 at 12:10 PM about the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Im looking to buy a new car soon, and I really like the JGC. However, my job
requires me to travel about 80 miles a day, so I am estimating that I would be
putting 25-30k miles on a year. I would like to buy new and keep it for at least
5 years. Anyone own a newer JGC that has over 150k miles? Can this vehicle
last above that?

So if it could get to 200k that would be about 6-7 years, which is my goal for my next vehicle. But you think it would last, a newer one? 75% Of the driving would be highway driving.

I would also suggest you looking at a Grand Cherokee Diesel. I bought a new 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited with a 3.0 L turbo diesel. I did some research before buying it and found the engine is an Italian built engine. Europe has been using small diesel engines for a lot of years. I have had it for over 2 years and put 30K mikes on it. Fuel mileage is fantastic (25-30 MPG) and so far it has been a very solid and dependable Jeep. The recommended Oil Change interval is 10,000 miles as it has an 8 quart sump. Very happy with this vehicle.

How many miles did it have when you bought it. I’m looking into one right now but it has 103k miles on and they are asking 19K
