I have an 83 Camaro z28 ,305 .4 barrel ,I was wondering where I can get another alternator from. what other years or cars can I get it from that would work for mine?

I would recommend just buying one. They range from $30-50 for a re-manufactured. Getting a used one out of another vehicle that old, you will be taking chances IMO.
