What do I need to do to change plugs and wires on a 1984 caprice classic.

What engine do you have? There were 5 options that year. Changing plugs on a 1984 Chevy should be plenty straight forward. You'll need some deep dish sockets and small hands to get back there.

You can access the spark plugs by removing the front wheels and go in from the side of the vehicle. You also need to replace the distributor cap and distributor rotor. The ignition coil is transferred from the old distributor cap to the new one. Hope that helps! Jim
