1987 town car cranks won't start

Asked by Rippetoe Mar 06, 2017 at 02:39 PM about the 1987 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced my solenoid, my coil, my
fuel pump, the pump relay and the
distributor cap and rotor

I have disconnected the fuesible links I can
find and wired it all back up with out them
(I kept them obviously I know they need to
go back on, but I'm just trying to get this
thing to start in my drive way it's on non
op)

I'm not a mechanic but I was told by an ex
friend that I'm too stupid to do this myself

So I'm too proud to go to a shop.

Any suggestions or tips would really help.

I have also found there's no power to pump or the inertia switch I'm on a budget as well this is just a car I'm looking to restore and cruise around in So it's not like this is my only car it's just a little project I'm frustrated with I Got it for $300.00 from a girl who said she just hit a bump driving
