85.5 intermitant stalls ecu has been rebuilt

engine stalls. (i have had the ecu rebuilt) i wiggle the ignition and fuel
sensors/switch on top and to the rear of the engine. and restart. i can't believe
that the computer knows i have played with the sensors. car wil run perfect
and then it decides it's tired and stops. Frustratiing! Any help?

If there were a bad connection at your sensors then wiggling them could restore electrical continuity and allow the car to start . Try cleaning those electrical contacts and see if it helps.

I had same problem. 1st, you should not be able to wiggle those sensors. Push down lightly while tightening them. A ball end Allen wrench is needed, it's a pain to get to the bolts, particularly the bracket holding the rear sensor at the back to the block. Do not move this bracket when tightening the Allen bolts! Also, change out tour battery cables! On a car that old internal corrosion doesn't show under the insulation. And clean all connections while doing this, particularly all block connections. Use OEM cables, not that auto zone crap. The extra cost is worth it. Good luck.
