Glitch in 2013 Toyota Prius v won't let me remote lock car

Car was working during multiple errand stops today, but when I got home I
attempted to lock the car with my key fob remote and the car emits a long
sustained beep like it does if the car is still turned on. Also, now when I shift
from park to drive the doors no longer automatically lock. And one final thing
I noticed is when I shift to reverse the warning boundary line graphics on the
backup display no longer appear. No idea what is going on. I have tried
starting and stopping the car several times to no avail.

Duh, I figured it out once I started driving. A few seconds into my trip the car started beeping but it wasn't the seatbelt beep it was the open door beep! The light I did not previously see as it was hidden from my view behind my dash mounted cell phone holder. The rear hatch was slightly ajar keeping the car from locking and causing the backup camera display issue.
