Question type: General

We have been given the run around about
our warranties dealers do not want to
honor them saying to go back to dealer we
purchased the car from but dealer is no
longer in business.  Everywhere we take it
too they can not find record of our car or
any issues we have complained about.
Talked few other people and they too are
having same kinds of problem with Nissan.

Pretty much if the dealer you got car from closed or went out of business tour warranties you purchased are void / lost

An extended warranty through Nissan is backed by Nissan and rarely have issues. Third party warranty companies are a shit show but they are their own company, it wouldn't matter if the dealership went out of business unless they are the ones who are backing their own warranty. If the warranty company, and the dealership are out of business then there isn't much you can do to recover aside from track down the owners and sue them. Youd have to provide a lot more information about the company behind your warranty for more help.
