1994 Stealth/3000GT

Hey There, I really wish you luck because all the parts are becoming so increasly hard to find unless you find after market that fit. Bought my 92 Stealth new and basically had to have the entire front suspension rebuilt last week and had to go with high performance struts (350.00) each alone...total amt for everything...I was pretty suprised. Love the car and husband and I just decided to make the investment and keep it as a classic. Didn't want to take a chance on junkyard parts that old as I took that risk once and drive axle actually broke in half! I just look at it this way...havent made a car payment on it in years. Really do hope you find what you need as they are great cars and such fun to drive...Good luck to you.

Well, I have some good news and some bad news. First I'll give you the bad news. Mitsubishi did not make replacement bushings or ball joints for these. According to the dealer, the front control arms are not serviceable. They simply want you to replace them. Well, that absurd. So, some of us did some searching. The front control arms are the same between the N/A and turbo models. We found an aftermarket ball joint that will work. Just get a Moog K9855 ball joint. As for the bushing, there is one option. There is a vendor, www.3sx.com, that sells Polyurethane bushing kits. The suspension kit will cost you somewhere around $300. However, you will get some control arm bushings that will last a pretty damn long time. Actually, you can modify one to work.
