my ford escort just cuts out while i'am driving,like if run out of feul but tank is full pump works and spark is all good.

this started to happen after i had to slam hard on my beaks after that my car was idling very low like it whan't to cut out.later on it started all normal idle till my fan kick in no problem but when i drive it,it cuts out around the corner like the fuel runs out but fuel filter is full.please help i'm out of options

I think the fuel pump could be going bad did you hit the fuel pump reset switch on the driver side by your foot .It could be on the other side.I had the same problem with mine a few years back I couldn't get it fixed so I sold it.Its a problem that happens with that car for some reason check and see if it is under recall.
